Josh Allen’s MVP season for the Buffalo Bills last year was one for the record books. Not only did the former first round pick excel throughout the year, but he helped get Buffalo to the conference title game.

Along the way, he left many fans, coaches, and young players in awe over his raw ability.

That was prevalent in a key Week 15 matchup when he and the Bills outdueled Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions on the road in a hostile environment at Ford Field. Among the players in attendance, though, was Kentucky cornerback Maxwell Hairston.

You know Hairston, the Bills’ 30th overall pick in the 2025 draft? He was at that 48-42 barn-burner and was left speechless based on the performance of Allen, and the victory for the Bills.

“I actually got to watch them play when they came to Detroit. Ray Davis gave me some tickets and I (saw) Josh Allen go out there and put on a masterclass,” said Hairston. “I was like, hey, I wouldn’t mind that being my quarterback. And the fact that it really happened now, I’m super excited and super ready to get to work with him.”

Allen finished with over 400 total yards of offense and four total touchdowns. He was unstoppable in that game as much as he was throughout the 2025 season.
