The Los Angeles Rams are 80-52 under head coach Sean McVay since he took over in 2017.

The Rams have made some major free agency moves this offseason, signing receiver Davante Adams while letting go of Cooper Kupp.

However, that means that not everyone will be paid on the roster. On Saturday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that former Rams offensive lineman Joseph Noteboom agreed to a contract with the Baltimore Ravens.

Noteboom’s three-year, $40 million contract with the Rams expired in 2025, and he became an unrestricted free agent, per Spotrac.

The Rams took Noteboom in the 2018 NFL Draft after playing for the TCU Horned Frogs in college.

The former Rams offensive tackle saw action as a backup during his rookie season, playing in 16 games with no starts.

His second season in the NFL did not go as planned. After starting in the first six games of 2019, he suffered a right knee injury. It was later confirmed that Noteboom had torn his MCL and ACL, keeping him out for the rest of the year.

Noteboom dealt with more injuries in 2020, suffering a groin and calf strain that limited his playing time. He played in 10 games with nine starts on the offensive line.

Things started to look up for him in 2021, as he played in 15 games but only started in two.

Noteboom’s 2022 season was going well until he suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon after starting in six games. He was out for the remainder of the year.

He played in 14 games with eight starts in 2023, before playing in the fewest games of his career in 2024. Noteboom started last season’s season opener versus the Detroit Lions, but then suffered an ankle injury that kept him out until Week 10.

He then did not see the field until Weeks 16 and 17. The terms of Noteboom’s contract with the Ravens have not been revealed yet.
