EMPORIA, Kan. (WIBW) – After six years in Emporia, former Hornets wide receiver Tyler Kahmann is heading to NFL training camp with the Indianapolis Colts.
“It’s definitely exciting. I’m ready to compete. I feel good, I feel ready to go,” Kahmann told 13 Sports. “It’s a good opportunity but at the same time, I’m ready to go.”

“Listen, the receiving core is really good, I mean, Michael Pittman, Josh Downs, AD Mitchell, Alec Pierce, all those guys are super good,” Kahmann said when asked about who he’s most excited to compete against in camp. “It’s cool to learn from them, but it’s also good to be a part of the same things they’re doing and learn and be better from that.”
Kahmann is the record holder for receiving touchdowns at Emporia State. He graduated from the program after the 2024 season.
