Chark, who spent his first four seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars, has bounced around between several teams, including the Detroit Lions (2022), Carolina Panthers (2023) and most recently the Los Angeles Chargers (2024).

Back in 2022, Chark played under new Bears head coach and former Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, so they could certainly be mutual interest there. In 11 games with Detroit, including 10 starts, Chark totaled 30 receptions for 502 yards and three touchdown.

“It depends,” Chark said, via Sports Castings’ Kyle Odegard. “It will have to be something that makes sense, from a family perspective and also from an X’s and O’s perspective. Getting up and going to any team just for the excitement — I’ll always love the game, but at this point, putting myself and my family in a great position is what’s ideal for me.”
