Utilizing those strengths has looked different ways thus far. Moehrig has taken snaps as a big nickel and strong safety, working with varying personnel groups as Evero evaluates all of his options.
Regardless of where Moehrig lines up in September, though, he’ll be on the field, ready to make the impact he was brought here to make and turn this defense into what it can be.
“It’s been smooth, man, since OTAs, it’s been a really detailed camp so far, since I’ve been here,” said Moehrig. “So each day I’ve been learning, each day has been feeling like the defense has been getting smooth and and being steady and, like I said before, we just got to keep our head down, keep grinding each day, and I’m excited what this defense can do.”
