C.J. Stroud is looking for his best season yet, but he’s also looking fresh in the new blue practice jerseys.

With over 1,000 fans in attendance, the Houston Texans Pro Bowl quarterback greeted those who waited out in the rain, debuting a new H-Town Blue practice jersey. Quarterbacks will wear the H-Town color for all practices in front of the public.

Here’s a look at C.J. and new returner Braxton Berrios meeting with fans just before the start of practice.

Last season, Stroud took a step back from his record-setting season. It wasn’t terrible, but it was far from his standard, doubling his interception total and only tossing 20 touchdown passes.

This offseason, Stroud focused on building himself up as a better team leader while focusing on his spiritual impact.

“I just want consistent wins,” Stroud said Wednesday. “Not just like on the scoreboard or just on the field, of course that’s very important, but just in life. So, just consistently winning.”
