National audiences may not be aware yet, but the Oregon Ducks have a ton of stashed talent, who they believe can replace the stars they lost to the NFL Draft and the transfer portal. A handful of these departures were players who belonged to offensive skill positions, namely tight end Terrance Ferguson, who was selected in the second round this year by the Los Angeles Rams.
Thankfully, the Ducks have junior Kenyon Sadiq waiting in the wings. He has some big shoes to fill, but Dane Brugler of The Athletic believes Sadiq will ultimately establish himself as the top tight end in the 2026 class.
From his freakish athleticism, to his after the catch ability and blocking prowess, there is nothing not to love about Sadiq’s game. Brugler believes with the increased opportunity he will prove to be one of the best tight ends in college, saying, “Sadiq enters his junior season with just 30 career catches and three touchdowns — numbers he should surpass before Halloween this season. The talent and opportunity are there for him to be the top tight end in college football.”
Sadiq is one of the most physically gifted players in college, so if the production matches the talent, he could find himself shooting up draft boards.
