A new deal might be arriving soon for Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton.

Sutton, 29, participated in individual drills and walkthrough sessions on Saturday and Monday (Denver was off Sunday), but he did not participate in 11-on-11 drills in either of the team’s last two practices.

Broncos coach Sean Payton was not alarmed about the receiver’s workload. In fact, Payton announced that the team and receiver are getting close on a contract.

Sutton is scheduled to earn about $14 million this season before becoming a free agent in 2026, and he’d like a raise. Although he’s had a modified routine over the last two practices, Sutton has not skipped any sessions this offseason, and it sounds like contract talks have been amicable.
