George Pickens seems to be acclimating well to his new surroundings.

The Dallas Cowboys receiver recently joined 105.3 The Fan (KRLD-FM), where he discussed his focus for the 2025 season and his connection with CeeDee Lamb. While Pickens is entering a contract year, the receiver doesn’t want to look past 2025 just yet.

He does see Dallas as a place he could one day call a permanent home.

“I kind of understand the camaraderie more than I did in Pittsburgh,” Pickens said. “The Cowboys are known for the Super Bowl. If they weren’t known for that, then no one would care about the Cowboys. But they’re known for that, then the camaraderie — other people give that same energy because they also want to see it again.”

Pickens added that he’s focused on playing through the upcoming season before he turns his attention to a new contract.

“That’s definitely what I want to focus on first because money’s everywhere. Money’s all over the world,” Pickens said. “So I definitely want to try to help them win, like get a Super Bowl.”

Throughout the early portion of training camp in Oxnard, Pickens’ connection with Lamb has received a fair share of attention. Both receivers have come down with key receptions from quarterback Dak Prescott in practice sessions.

According to Pickens, it didn’t take long to form a bond with Lamb.

“It kind of was instant chemistry when I met him,” Pickens said. “Just the type of person he is, he’s kind of just like me personally. But we’re all about our business when we get on the field. That connection is going to make us better, so I was already coming in with that mindset. I always wanted to meet him, I wanted to meet all the other guys because that’s going to make us super different.”
