Afternoon drive sports talk show host Jared Stillman has left The Game 102.5-FM after being unable to agree on a contract extension and the station will launch a new lineup on Aug. 4.

Stillman, a Nashville native, celebrated his 10-year anniversary at the station in April. He and former Tennessee Titans general manager Floyd Reese launched “Jared and the GM” weekdays from 2-6 p.m. in 2015.

They signed an extension in 2019. Reese died in 2021 and the show became “Stillman & Company.” The show focused primarily on the Titans.

Stillman’s show was not on the air July 31 and Stillman’s bio had been removed from the station’s website.

Stillman posted a statement on his Instagram account stating he was unable to reach an agreement to extend his contract.

“My contract has expired, and after a year-long negotiation, 102.5 The Game and I couldn’t come to terms on a new deal for the upcoming season.”

Stillman also said in the post, “Getting to talk about my hometown teams every day − through the high and lows − gave me purpose. It’s been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life.”

Program director Chase McCabe released this statement about Stillman’s departure: “Jared is an incredibly talented broadcaster who has played a major role in shaping our station over the past decade. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished together and know he’ll continue to do great things in his next chapter.”

Stillman’s show will be replaced by “DVD” hosted by Predators TV voice Willy Daunic, Adam Vingan and former Titans receiver Derrick Mason. The show will move from its current midday time slot (10-a.m.-2 p.m.).

Another current show featuring McCabe, “Chase & Big Joe (Dubin)” will move into the midday slot (Noon-2 p.m.).

A new show hosted by Jake Lyman, the voice of the Vanderbilt women’s basketball team, will debut Aug. 4 from 9 a.m.-noon. Lyman will be joined regularly by Nashville sports personalities including ESPN’s Turron Davenport.

“Robby & Rexrode” featuring Robby Stanley and Joe Rexrode will remain in its 6-9 a.m. time slot.
