PORTLAND (WGME) – Friday is the first day of August, and it’s the first day of training camp for the UMaine football team.
The Black Bears took a step forward last season, finishing with a 5-7 record that included an upset win over 5th ranked Villanova in October.
Head coach Jordan Stevens is now in his fourth year at the helm and continues to build the program.
With practice ready to kickoff Friday, Stevens says it’s all about mastering the fundamentals.
