Carolina Panthers long snapper JJ Jansen is finally right where he should be in the video game world.

On Thursday, EA Sports revealed the top ten Madden NFL 26 ratings for the league’s long snappers. And Jansen, who is now in his 17th season with the Panthers, found himself all the way up at No. 5 . . .

As Jansen alludes to, the game has previously listed him as a tight end—and a pretty bad one, at that. He was given a dreadful overall rating of 36 in both Madden NFL 24 and Madden NFL 25.

But this year, EA Sports has decided to properly identify Jansen and his fellow long snappers in creating a more realistic simulation.

Oh, and Jansen wasn’t the only Panther to receive a top-ten rating at his position. He’s joined by Derrick Brown, whose 95 mark is good enough for the third overall spot amongst all defensive linemen.
