CINCINNATI (WKRC) – The Cincinnati Bengals will remain in the city for at least another 11 years following the approval of a final lease agreement for Paycor Stadium.
The deal, reached between the team and Hamilton County commissioners, was passed with a two-to-one vote in favor of keeping the Bengals at the stadium until 2036.
Under the previous lease, the Bengals could request the county to fund similar upgrades if other stadiums received certain improvements, regardless of the cost. The newly approved lease, however, limits the county’s financial responsibility for major stadium projects.
Additionally, the agreement includes 10 optional years, potentially extending the lease until 2046.
