Matthew Stafford, a Highland Park High School product and Super Bowl-winning quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams, is looking like he’s entering the 2025 season banged up.

The 16-year NFL veteran is set to miss the joint practice between the Rams and Dallas Cowboys, according to The Los Angeles Times’ Gary Klein.

The scheduled joint practice between the two teams is scheduled for Tuesday in Oxnard.

Stafford is currently dealing with an injury to his back and the report from The Los Angeles Times says he will be visiting a back specialist for the issue.

The Cowboys are also scheduled to open their preseason against the Rams on Saturday at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles at 6 p.m.

The two teams held a joint practice last year and played each other in the preseason. Los Angeles won the game 13-12.
