CHARLOTTE, N.C. (CAROLINA SPORTS LIVE) — The Panthers added to their defensive line Sunday afternoon.

The team signed former Cardinals and Packers linebacker Krys Barnes. The 27-year-old spent his last two seasons with the Cardinals, with six starts in 2023. He started 24 games in three years with the Packers (2020-2022).

To make room for Barnes, the Panthers let go of rookie linebacker Tuasivi Nomura. Nomura was signed earlier this year as an undrafted rookie from Fresno State.
