With the New York Jets‘ 2025 NFL training camp well underway, stocks have gone up and down.

Players have done well, others not so much.

Here is Jets Wire’s early training camp stock report:

A consistent theme for the Jets offense through the start of training camp? Rookie tight end Mason Taylor finding the end zone. No disrespect to past players intended, but that is very welcomed.

With Justin Fields sustaining a toe injury, Tyrod Taylor briefly was QB1. He won’t overtake Fields, but it appears there is confidence in Taylor if he has to go in.

Stock down: QB Justin FieldsJul 23, 2025; Florham Park, NY, USA; New York Jets quarterback Justin Fields (7) participates in a drill during training camp at Atlantic Health Jets Training Center. Mandatory Credit: John Jones-Imagn Images

Fields had a great day of training camp on Friday, but it has mostly been inconsistent outputs from him. However, that’s to be expected. Overall, an offense takes more time to get on the same page during training camp, let alone a unit with a new QB. There is plenty of time.

Stock down: RB Isaiah DavisJul 24, 2025; Florham Park, NY, USA; New York Jets running back Isaiah Davis (32), running back Zach Evans (38) and running back Braelon Allen (0) participate in a drill during training camp at Atlantic Health Jets Training Center. While the Jets have expressed interest in a “committee” approach out of the backfield in 2025, it has mostly involved Breece Hall and Braelon Allen thus far. Davis has not made much of an impact.

There is a lot of focus on the interior of the Jets’ defensive line. Who will start next to Quinnen Williams. That has overshadowed that positive output McDonald has had, which would be huge.
