For the first time since 2019, Saint Louis is Hawaii’s Open Division state champ. The Crusaders beat Kahuku 17-10, snapping the Red Raiders run of three straight Open Division titles.

Saint Louis now owns five of the eight Open Division titles since the state began the division in 2016. If you add-in the the Oahu Prep Bowl era, Saint Louis owns 22 overall titles.

The 2024 season began with Kahuku beating their arch-rival 14-13.

The win will also shake-up our national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. Kahuku was ranked No. 119 in the High School Football America. The Crusaders were outside of the Top 300.
