JACKSONVILLE – Trevor Lawrence overall is pleased with the progress.

That doesn’t mean he loved how he or the Jaguars’ offense practiced Tuesday. It does mean the Jaguars’ starting quarterback views 2025 Training Camp positively overall.

He’s growing, learning and improving – and that’s the goal.

“I think I’ve made some big strides from the spring,” Lawrence said Tuesday following a two-and-half hour padded practice on Day 10 of camp at the Miller Electric Center.

Lawrence, entering his fifth season as the Jaguars’ starting quarterback – his first in first-year Head Coach Liam Coen’s offensive system – said those strides have come in many areas: “The system, being comfortable, playing fast, getting through progressions, letting it rip, especially across the middle, and anticipating some throws.”

“It’s been a lot better than the spring,” Lawrence said. “Going into today, I was pleased with just my progress. Not necessarily overall performance, but I felt like I was really just playing better every day, and I think that’s what you want to do.”

While Lawrence called Tuesday “a little bit of a rougher day” for he and the offense, he said the overall strides are encouraging and stem from becoming more acclimated in Coen’s offense.
