Titans name Cam Ward as starting quarterback for preseason opener

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan announced that Cam Ward will be the starting quarterback when the Titans face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this upcoming weekend.

Ward, the first overall pick in the draft, is expected to play a series or two during the game.

The Titans are set to play three preseason games this year, with their regular season opener scheduled for Sept. 7 on the road against the Denver Broncos.
