The Denver Broncos have signed cornerback Gregory Junior, the team announced Sunday.

Junior (6-0, 203 pounds) is a 26-year-old defensive back out of Ouachita Baptist who was originally drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL draft. He went on to spend time with the Indianapolis Colts, Houston Texans and Green Bay Packers before landing with the Broncos.

To make room for Junior on the 91-player offseason roster, Denver waived defensive lineman Matt Henningsen with an injury designation. Henningsen tore his Achilles during a joint practice with the San Francisco 49ers last week. If he clears waivers, Henningsen will revert to the Broncos’ injured reserve list for the 2025 season.

Junior joins a cornerback room in Denver that already features Pat Surtain, Riley Moss, Jahdae Barron, Ja’Quan McMillian, Kris Abrams-Draine, Damarri Mathis, Reese Taylor, Quinton Newsome, Jaden Robinson and Joshua Pickett. The Broncos’ offseason roster is now going into Week 2 of preseason.
