The Denver Broncos are set to host the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2 of NFL preseason action on Saturday evening.

The Broncos made two roster moves on Sunday, waiving defensive lineman Matt Henningsen (Achilles) with an injury designation and signing cornerback Gregory Junior. After clearing waivers, Henningsen reverted to the team’s injured reserve list on Monday.

Denver currently has 91 players on the roster going into Saturday’s game. The NFL’s offseason roster limit is 90 players, but the Broncos get an exception for an extra 91st player because punter Jeremy Crawshaw is designated as an international player. Once the 53-man roster is set, teams can use an international exemption for the 16-player practice squad.

Crawshaw is set to serve as Denver’s punter this year, so he’s got a spot reserved on the active roster. So if the Broncos want to carry a 17th practice squad player in 2025, it will have to be a different international player than Crawshaw.

With those notes out of the way, here’s a look at the team’s updated offseason roster, sorted by position. Each player’s name includes a link to his Broncos Wire bio.

Denver will trim the roster down to 53 players by Aug. 26, then build a 16- or 17-player practice squad. Last year, the team’s initial practice squad included Burton, Tillman, Bailey and Badie.
