MACON, Ga. (WGXA) — As football season approaches, Mercer Athletics announced the lineup for a concert series to get fans in the spirit.
In a release, the Mercer Football Ford Concert Series will celebrate its seventh season this fall, offering fans the chance to see nationally known music artists and other local talent in the tailgating area near Five Star Stadium.

Aug. 30 – Ole 60 ahead of Mercer’s Home Opener versus Presbyterian College.Sept. 13 – Ying Yang Twins with David J and Charly Reynolds before the Bears’ Southern Conference opener against Wofford.Oct. 4 – Tyler Braden ahead of Mercer’s Family Weekend matchup against Samford.Oct. 25 – Brent Cobb prior to the Military Appreciation game versus VMI.Nov. 15 – Drivin N Cryin closing out the series before Mercer faces Chattanooga for Homecoming.
Mercer Deputy Athletics Director Daniel Tate shared his anticipation for the concert series in a statement.
“We’re excited again to provide Middle Georgia with outstanding entertainment featuring live music and multiple national recording artists, along with an incredible college football experience,” said Tate. “Music continues to be part of the fabric that makes Macon special, and with this year’s lineup, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.”
