The Kansas City Chiefs officially bid farewell to St. Joseph, Missouri, in a video that was posted to Twitter on Wednesday, August 13, after the team conducted its final training camp practice session.

The defending AFC champions are set to face the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field in a preseason exhibition on Friday, August 15, after losing to the Arizona Cardinals last week.

Some of Kansas City’s biggest stars and training camp standouts were featured in the tribute video, including wide receivers Rashee Rice and Tyquan Thornton, and star quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

While the team’s time at Missouri Western State University has come to an end, the valuable hours of preparation that Kansas City’s players accumulated in St. Joseph are sure to pay dividends when the Chiefs’ regular season campaign begins next month.
