Green Bay Packers quarterback Malik Willis will get his second start in as many years against the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday.
With Jordan Love out with a thumb injury, Willis steps into the starting quarterback role, as he did during the second game of the 2024 regular season, when Love was injured also. The Packers won the game against the Colts, 16-10.

Colts play indoors, so weather won’t be a factor
The Colts play inside climate-controlled Lucas Oil Stadium, which fans will appreciate, because the National Weather Service says it will be 94 degrees and sunny outside. It will be about 90 on Friday and 94 again on Sunday, for those traveling.
Indianapolis one of the better places to attend a football game
USA TODAY ranks Lucas Oil Stadium as the fifth best in the NFL, while Sports Illustrated ranks it ninth.

“Simply put: It’s perfect. From a design that plays on the rich history of small town basketball gyms across Indiana, to an interior that found a way to ensure every seat has an exceptional sightline, Lucas Oil Stadium is easily one of the best football stadiums you will find anywhere in the world. It’s no surprise why Indianapolis will remain in the running to host every Super Bowl and Final Four from now until they build a new home for the Indianapolis Colts,” said Blake Schuster in the USA TODAY rankings.
Sports betting site Bookies.com, said Indianapolis provides the sixth-best pregame experience — tailgating, stadium location and accessibility, nearby entertainment and family friendliness — in the NFL.
“Tailgating at Lucas Oil Stadium isn’t the best option because the stadium is right downtown, almost uniquely so considering the scale of the massive dome. But around the stadium, there’s something for everyone. Downtown options push Colts games into the top 10 in three of the four categories, including family sentiment and overall atmosphere,” wrote Adam Thompson for Bookies.com.
Like Lambeau Field, Lucas Oil Stadium is cashless.

Indianapolis one of the smaller NFL markets
The Indianapolis metro area is closer in size to Green Bay than are most, but it’s still 2.1 million people to Green Bay’s 328,268. Green Bay’s metro area, which includes Brown, Oconto and Kewaunee counties, is the smallest in the NFL.
