Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs is missing Thursday’s joint practice with the Indianapolis Colts due to the minor back injury he suffered during Tuesday’s practice in Green Bay.

Coach Matt LaFleur said the team wasn’t concerned about the injury and he actually thought Doubs had a chance to practice Thursday, per Matt Schneidman of The Athletic. Doubs was not in pads to start Thursday’s on-field work.

Doubs, a starter at receiver, was injured while going to the ground on a catch attempt during Tuesday’s practice. He left the practice field and didn’t return.

The Packers are without several receivers on Thursday. Doubs, Jayden Reed (foot), Christian Watson (knee), Dontayvion Wicks (calf) and rookie Savion Williams (unknown) are not practicing.

Over the last week, the Packers added young receivers Isaiah Neyor and Kawaan Baker at wide receiver, providing some depth at the position while others heal.

The Packers have a joint practice with the Colts on Thursday, a preseason game against the Colts on Saturday, a joint practice with the Seattle Seahawks next Thursday and the preseason finale against the Seahawks next Saturday.
