FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The Atlanta Falcons are in the midst of preparing for their second road game of the season, and a potential sweep of the NFC South in their first time through the division order.
The Falcons (3-2) are coming off an 36-30 win in overtime on “Thursday Night Football” against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that gave them an early leg up in the division. In Week 4, the Falcons earned their first division win, beating the New Orleans Saints 26-24. Now, Atlanta faces a Carolina Panthers squad that is 1-4 on the season and coming off back-to-back losses.
Atlanta will look to redeem a Week 15 loss to the Panthers in 2023, the last meeting between the two teams, and continue to take control of the division. Ahead practice resuming Wednesday, the Falcons released their depth chart for Week 6.
