Indianapolis Colts’ offensive tackle Blake Freeland exited Saturday’s game against the Green Bay Packers with a fractured leg, according to head coach Shane Steichen.
The injury occurred shortly after Freeland took over at right tackle for Braden Smith, who exited with a groin injury. Freeland was immediately put in a boot and carted off the field.

Freeland was a fourth-round pick by the Colts in the 2023 draft. As a rookie, he played over 700 snaps, most of which came at right tackle.
In this year’s training camp, Freeland was competing with rookie Jalen Travis for the Colts’ swing tackle role off the bench.
In addition to Freeland and Smith leaving the game due to injuries, Hunter Wohler (foot), Johnathan Edwards (concussion), Tyler Goodson (elbow), and Jacob Phillips (bicep) did as well.
