Kellen Moore and the New Orleans Saints coaching staff are switching things up on Sunday as the team announced that Tyler Shough will be getting the start against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

This seems like the fairest way to go about the ongoing quarterback competition, as Spencer Rattler started and played with the ones last week. Though, to be fair, several starters sat out and will likely do so again. Still, being the starter gives the best opportunity to play with and against top talent.

Shough and Rattler have gone back and forth throughout much of the competition, as many are still waiting for one of them to stand out. Shough could help himself mightily by having the better day on Sunday, as he had the consensus better performance last week as well.

The second-round pick went 15-for-22 for 165 yards with a touchdown and an interception. He could have had another big play score, but slightly overthrew his receiver early on. He had both the best and worst throws of the day.

Rattler went 7-of-11 for 53 yards. He needs to do more to show off his arm in this one, though that is also on the playcalling. Another game of dinking and dunking his way down the field without any shots could start to have people worried. Shough has an opportunity here to turn the tide in the Saints QB competition.
