With the Tennessee Titans wrapping up their training camp road trip and back in Nashville to finish out the preseason, Sunday was supposed to be a quiet day. Unfortunately, in the NFL, there is really never a quiet moment.

Tennessee made a small roster move on Sunday, although all of the details have not been released. From a report on social media, the Titans are parting ways with defensive tackle Philip Blidi, who did not play against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 2 of the preseason.

was originally signed as an undrafted rookie free agent after the 2025 NFL draft, as the Titans focused on adding some youth and competition to their defensive line. The 6-foot-3, 284-pound defensive tackle brought five years of college experience to the team and was regarded as a potential rotational piece in scouting reports.

The Titans have not announced a corresponding move after the release of Blidi and now have an open roster spot on their offseason roster.
