The Rams stole a preseason victory from the Chargers in Week 2, 23-22, with a clutch, last-minute drive orchestrated by quarterback Stetson Bennett IV. It was the second-straight victory for L.A. and came courtesy of several standout performances.

Here are five interesting stats from the win:

The Rams’ win probability was as low as 4% in the final minute of the game, according to ESPN

With 19 seconds remaining and the Rams down five points, there was a fourth-and-10 on the opposing 48-yard line coming up. The Chargers had a 96% chance to win the game. Then, Bennett pulled off the improbable, heaving a 40-yard pass to wide receiver Brennan Presley, who elevated to make the catch while draped by two defenders.

On the next play, Bennett connected with wide receiver Tru Edwards for an eight-yard score with five seconds remaining. The two-point try was unsuccessful, but the Rams came out with a seemingly impossible victory.

Presley’s 102 reception yards were the most by any player in a 2025 preseason game

Presley’s six catches for 102 yards surpassed every other preseason receiving performance thus far in 2025. His long of 40 came in clutch for a Rams team that was down to their final play if the pass fell incomplete, and kept their incredible comeback drive alive. Presley also had gains of 26 and 22 yards, respectively, earlier in the game.
