The Detroit Lions closed out their 2025 draft experience by selecting Georgia wide receiver Dominic Lovett with the No. 244 overall pick.
Lovett is reunited with his Bulldogs teammate, Lions second-round OL Tate Ratledge. A 5-10 slot receiver who caught a team-leading 59 passes in 2024, Lovett is known for his precise route running and ability to create after the catch. He played his first two college seasons at Missouri.

Lovett was also a fixture on special teams, playing as a gunner on the punt unit among other roles. He is the second wideout taken by Detroit in the draft, coming four rounds after Arkansas WR Isaac TeSlaa.
