With two preseason games in the books, the Pittsburgh Steelers haven’t shown much of anything in terms of the starting lineup. What this tells us is that the starters are largely set, and the rest are just fighting for spots on the depth chart. This Friday, the Steelers will wrap up their preseason schedule against the Carolina Panthers with final cuts just a few days after.

Here is our early prediction for the Steelers Week One starting offense against the New York Jets.

A few notes from these predictions. We considered a co-starter situation at running back, but we haven’t seen enough from Kaleb Johnson for that. And at wide receiver, the injury to Calvin Austin III and struggles by Robert Woods have us shuffling things at wide out. Finally, We are giving Darnell Washington the nod over Jonnu Smith due to injury as well.
