The Texans signed Powell on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Powell was one of two wideouts signed by Houston, which also inked Juwann Winfree. Both receivers join the team, after the Texans traded John Metchie to the Eagles. Powell, 27, has spent time with the Chiefs, Seahawks and played for the DC Defenders of the United Football League. He’s appeared in three NFL games and did not accumulate any stats.
