From a high to a low.

Rookie cornerback TJ Moore suffered a devastating right leg injury shortly after he had one of his best moments in the Giants’ 42-10 preseason win over the Patriots on Thursday.

Minutes after Moore intercepted a pass and ran it back for a 44-yard touchdown, he had to be carted off the field during the final minutes after his leg appeared to twist awkwardly as he was running during a play.

He appeared to plant his leg the wrong way and tumbled to the ground, a replay of the play appeared to show, and he grabbed at his right leg.

The entire Giants sideline came out onto the field to support Moore before he was loaded onto the cart with his right leg immobilized and taken to the Giants’ locker room.

It was a tough way or the night to end for Moore, who had produced a strong showing in the Giants’ final preseason game.

Moore had recorded three tackles Thursday, in addition to the interception.

He arrived as an undrafted free agent out of Mercer, where he was named an FCS All-American in 2024 and had 64 tackles.

The Giants finished their preseason with a 3-0 mark, and will open up their 2025 season Sept. 7, against the Commanders in Washington.
