The Kansas City Chiefs close out their preseason schedule by hosting the Chicago Bears on GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Friday night. Kickoff is set for 7:20 p.m. Arrowhead Time. The game will be carried on KSHB (NBC/41-Kansas City) and Chiefs Television Network affiliates throughout the Midwest and the world.

Kansas City stands 0-2 in preseason action after suffering a 33-16 road loss to the Seattle Seahawks last Friday. A long list of starters were held out of that game, leaving only backups and reserves to carry the load at Lumen Field.

Chiefs’ head coach Andy Reid says that the team’s starters will take the field to open the final exhibition matchup, but said he would “play it by ear” on when they would come out of the game. We expect to see wide receiver Hollywood Brown and cornerback Kristian Fulton for the first time in the preseason — and could see Fulton for much of the game.

A total of seven Kansas City players have been ruled out for the contest: tight end Jake Briningstool (hamstring), linebacker Jack Cochrane (knee), offensive tackle Ethan Driskell (appendix), safety Mike Edwards (hamstring), cornerback Nazeeh Johnson (shoulder), defensive tackle Omarr Norman-Lott (ankle) and wide receiver Jaylen Royals (knee).
