The Kansas City Chiefs are off to a hot start in their preseason finale against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium.

After an early touchdown scored by veteran running back Isiah Pacheco at the start of the game, the Chiefs’ offense started to falter late in the first quarter.

But, on the first play of the contest’s second frame, star quarterback Patrick Mahomes capped off a six-play, 81-yard drive with a touchdown pass to third-year wide receiver Rashee Rice.

Take a look at this video of Rice’s back-shoulder touchdown grab, which was posted to Twitter by the Chiefs’ official account:

After missing most of last season with a knee injury, Rice’s return to Kansas City’s active roster is a welcome sight, both for fans and his Chiefs teammates.

Though the former SMU Mustang is expected to miss some more time this season due to a suspension, the Kansas City faithful can rest easy knowing that Rice is more than capable of picking up where he left off.
