The Kansas City Chiefs open the 2025 NFL season with an international game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Friday, Sept. 5, in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The game will be streamed live for free on YouTube at 8 p.m. ET.

While quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce star on the field and head coach Andy Reid patrols the sidelines, another member of the Chiefs team that won Super Bowl LIV will have a significant role during Week 1.
