Browns inactives: Denzel Ward, Myles Garrett won't suit up vs. Rams

As the Cleveland Browns wrap up their preseason against the Los Angeles Rams this afternoon, not every starter will play.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski stated that the starters would get in work against the Rams, about 25-30 snaps. However, there are a handful of starters who will not hit the field as the Browns have listed the players who are not expected to play in the preseason finale.

Among those are the injured quarterbacks, Kenny Pickett and Deshaun Watson. Cornerback Denzel Ward will also not play after leaving practice this week with a shoulder injury. Other starters are sitting, mainly due to prowess and tenure on the team so there is no need to risk putting them on the field.
