The Cleveland Browns have released former Alabama cornerback Tony Brown, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. This would be Brown’s 8th season in the NFL.
Brown signed as undrafted free agent with the Chargers in 2018, and has since had stints with the Packers, Bengals, Raiders, Colts and now Browns. Brown was one-of-four players released by the Browns on Sunday and 17 others were waived in an effort to trim down to a 53-man roster.
