The Ravens could ill-afford to lose Lamar Jackson, and days after he exited practice with an undisclosed foot injury, the MVP candidate rejoined his team for the first regular-season practice as Baltimore sets their sights on the Buffalo Bills.

Following Saturday’s dominant 30-13 win over Washington in Saturday’s preseason finale, head coach John Harbaugh confirmed that Jackson would return to practice on Monday, “unless he wanted more time off.”

Jackson became the first quarterback in NFL history to post a 4,000-900 season, throwing for 41 touchdowns and almost 4,200 yards while also rushing for 915 yards and four scores.

After spending the bulk of OTAs away from the facility, Jackson had only missed one training camp practice before Thursday, on Aug. 4, for pre-planned personal reasons. John Harbaugh said earlier this week he would not play in Baltimore’s preseason finale Saturday against the Washington Commanders.

Still, the pressure will continue to mount for Jackson, who’s just 3-5 in playoff games, with just 13 touchdowns (10 passing, three rushing) and 11 turnovers in those eight games.
