The Arizona Cardinals and the rest of the NFL must trim their offseason roster down to 53 players by Tuesday afternoon. That means there will be news of trades, cuts and reserve moves for injuries. Then there will be waver claims and practice squad signings
The Cardinals carried 91 players through the final preseason game.

Aaron Wilson reported that the Cardinals waived Baccellia, but they want him back. He is expected to re-sign with the practice squad if he clears waivers.

Head coach Jonathan Gannon said the decision has not been made whether or not rookie DL Walter Nolen and others will start the season on the PUP reserve, which would mean missing at least the first four weeks of the season.
