You just cannot count out Joe Bachie. After going undrafted in 2020, the former Michigan State football standout has managed to hang around in the NFL, stringing together a nice career for himself, and now, that career will continue, as Bachie made the Indianapolis Colts’ final 53-man roster after the deadline passed on Tuesday afternoon.
This is the fourth team Bachie has spent time with since leaving East Lansing in 2020. Bachie started his career with the New Orleans Saints, but was cut at this same point back in 2020. Bachie then found his way to the Eagles, but was waived in the spring of 2021. Bachie’s longest stint was with the Cincinnati Bengals, where he moved between the practice squad and active roster, while also dealing with some injuries, from 2021 through 2024.
Now, Bachie will get an opportunity with the Colts.
