Leading up to the regular season, Colts focus on catering to QB Jones’ strengths

Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen discusses focusing on Daniel Jones as the starter.

A familiar face will work out for the Indianapolis Colts this week.

Linebacker Anthony Walker, who played his first four seasons with the Colts, will work out in Indianapolis on Thursday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The Colts drafted the now-30-year-old in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, and he played four seasons, compiling 343 tackles and three interceptions.

He played for the Cleveland Browns from 2021-23 and for the Miami Dolphins in 2024. He signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but was released as he recovers from a non-football knee injury.

The Colts’ linebackers on their initial 53-man roster include Zaire Franklin, Joe Bachie, Segun Olubi and Cameron McGrone.
