The Cincinnati Bengals‘ NFL Week 6 game against the Packers October 12 at Green Bay’s Lambeau Field just got more interesting, with the Packers’ acquisition of defensive end Micah Parsons from the Dallas Cowboys for two first-round picks and defensive lineman Kenny Clark.

Parsons and the Packers reportedly already have reached agreement on a four-year, $188 million contract. The Cowboys and Packers are scheduled to meet September 28 on Sunday Night Football.

In July, Parsons was ranked in an ESPN survey among the top five NFL edge rushers. Bengals star defensive end Trey Hendrickson, the 2024 NFL sacks leader, was not included.

In December 2024, Parsons tweeted that Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow should win the NFL MVP award if Cincinnati made the playoffs.

Parsons had two QB hits during the Bengals’ 27-20 win against the Cowboys in Dallas in Week 14.

In 2022, Parsons said Burrow was not among the NFL’s top six QBs, and added that there were “some games like he’s not there.”
