No. 22 Iowa State hosts Football Championship Subdivision power South Dakota at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, Iowa, on Saturday. The Cyclones are coming off a 24-21 win over No. 17 Kansas State in Dublin, Ireland. The Coyotes were 11-3 last season and reached the semifinals of the FCS playoffs. This will be the first game for Travis Johansen as South Dakota’s head coach. He had been defensive coordinator and associate head coach under Bob Nielson, who retired after last season.
