The Arizona Cardinals signed former New England Patriots offensive tackle Demontrey Jacobs to the practice squad on Thursday.
The 6-foot-6, 315-pound lineman was released by the Patriots during initial 53-man roster cuts on Tuesday.
Jacobs started 13 of 15 games played at right tackle for New England in his lone season with the team last year.
He recorded 90% of the available offensive snaps (867) and 13% (49) on special teams.
Jacobs entered the league as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Denver Broncos in 2023. He spent the season on the practice squad before his release in 2024.
With the reported addition of Jacobs, the Cardinals now have 14 players signed to the practice squad.
The Cardinals still have two regular practice sqaud roster spots to fill and could have another with the International Player Pathway Program exemption.
The team had filled that spot for years with Austrian tight end Bernhard Seikovits.
