Here’s how every college football team in the state of Oklahoma fared.

NCAA Division IOklahoma

OU (1-0) cruised to a 35-3 home win over Illinois State. The Sooners were led by junior quarterback John Mateer, who completed 30 of his 37 passes for 392 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. He also ran the ball seven times for 24 yards and one touchdown. Next up is a home game against No. 14-ranked Michigan at 6:30 p.m. CT Saturday.

Oklahoma State

OSU (1-0) secured a 27-7 home win over UT Martin. The Cowboys were led by junior wide receiver Gavin Freeman, who caught five passes for 46 yards and one touchdown. Starting quarterback Hauss Hejny suffered a broken foot and will miss an extended period of time. Next up is a road game against No. 7 Oregon at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Tulsa

Tulsa (1-0) earned a 35-7 home win over Abilene Christian. The Golden Hurricane was led by redshirt senior running back Dominic Richardson, who recorded 20 carries for 142 yards and one touchdown. Next up is a road game against New Mexico State at 8 p.m. Saturday.

NCAA Division IICentral Oklahoma

No. 5 Central Oklahoma (0-1) suffered a 34-14 road loss to UT Permian Basin. The Bronchos’ top player was junior running back William Mason, who recored nine carries for 107 yards and one touchdown. Next up is a home game against No. 9 Pittsburg State at 7 p.m. Saturday.

East Central will begin its season with a home game against No. 18 Ouachita Baptist at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Northeastern State

Northeastern State (1-0) earned a 28-21 upset at Saginaw Valley State, the RiverHawks’ first road win since 2023, first season-opening win since 2011 and first road season-opening win since 2010. The RiverHawks were led by junior quarterback Donnie Smith, who completed 24 of his 35 passes for 284 yards. He also ran the ball four times for 3 yards and one touchdown. Next up is a home game against Missouri S&T at 6 p.m. Saturday.

Northwestern Oklahoma State

Northwestern Oklahoma State will begin its season with a home game against No. 2 Harding at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Oklahoma Baptist

Oklahoma Baptist will begin its season with a road game against Southern Arkansas at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Southeastern Oklahoma State

Southeastern Oklahoma State will begin its season with a home game against Arkansas-Monticello at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Southern Nazarene

Southern Nazarene will begin its season with a road game against Henderson State at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Southwestern Oklahoma State will begin its season with a home game against Arkansas Tech at 6 p.m. Thursday.

NAIALangston

Langston (0-1) suffered a 55-7 road loss to Grambling State. The Lions’ top performer was junior wide receiver Dylan Wroblewski, who caught nine passes for 104 yards and one touchdown. Next up is a home game against Louisiana Christian at 6 p.m. Saturday.

Oklahoma Panhandle State

Oklahoma Panhandle State (1-0) escaped with a 10-9 road win over Peru State. The Aggies were led by senior kicker Carlos Vazquez, who made a 28-yard field goal with 59 seconds left in regulation to win the game. Next up is a road game against East Texas Baptist at 6 p.m. Saturday.

NJCAANortheastern Oklahoma A&M

Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (0-1) fell short in a 27-20 home loss to Butler Community College. The top performer for the Golden Norsemen was freshman running back Qwontrel Walker, who recorded 17 carries for 103 yards and two touchdowns. Next up is a home game against Independence Community College at 7 p.m. Saturday.
