Sometimes, the little wins are almost as impressive as the signature moments. That’s how the Houston Texans must feel with their fans after another promising offseason in the building.
With players? Sure. With NRG Stadium and its amenities? Without question.

NRG Stadium was recently voted the third-best stadium in the NFL for food and the sixth-best stadium to watch a game at by USAToday.
“From football games to concerts to rodeos, NRG Stadium is one of the most impressive event venues in the entirety of the Lone Star State,” USAToday wrote. “Texas barbecue and optimal sightlines abound all throughout the arena, while NRG Stadium also made headlines in 2002 as the first NFL venue with a retractable roof, ensuring that spectators are cool and comfortable on a humid day.”
“We are honored to be recognized by USA Today with these prestigious awards, ” Texans President Mike Tomon said in a statement. “Our goal is for our fans to have a world-class experience every time they attend a Texans game. Everything we do is with our fans in mind and we are constantly working with our partners at NRG Stadium to enhance all aspects of gameday. We can’t wait for another exciting season of Texans football at NRG Stadium”
The publication also wrote about several of the signature dishes that can be found inside the stadium on gamedays, which have often been ranked among the top destinations in the NFL.
“NRG partners with local chefs and personalities — James Beard Award winner Chris Shepherd, Truth BBQ, Goode Co., El Tiempo, Trill Burger, and Hugo’s, among many others,” USAToday wrote. “Visitors can also sip on local brews, wine, and cocktails from lounges, cantinas, concession stands, and saloons. Desserts abound too, with options ranging from Voodoo Doughnuts to Dippin’ Dots.”
