The Tennessee Titans are looking forward to the upcoming season with Cam Ward, the number one overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft, as the new franchise quarterback.

However, even if Ward delivers on all of his expectations, the Titans will still need to be competitive on the defensive side of the ball. That is something the franchise seems to be acutely aware of as well, as they made a major signing on Tuesday with the regular season right around the corner, according to one prominent league insider.

“Sources: The #Titans are signing former #Cardinals LB Kyzir White. White had 137 tackles, 2.5 sacks and 9 TFLs with Arizona last season,” reported Jordan Schultz on Twitter.

Schultz followed up with more details surrounding the signing.

“The #Titans have been looking to add another LB for a while. Kyzir White ranked top 15 in tackles last season, and has always been a good blitzer.”

Fans reacted to the news on social media.

“Also a game sealing pick against Dak Prescott. Great signing,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“Kyzir is a machine and a tone setter. Great pick up for any team,” someone else added.

“137 tackles last season Titans just got themselves a workhorse,” another fan added.

It’ll be interesting to see how the signing pans out for the Titans.
