The Green Bay Packers have an array of uniform combinations entering the 2025 season, and Matt LaFleur’s team even wore white jerseys at home in the preseason finale, but a traditional look is in store for Week 1 against the Detroit Lions.

The Packers announced the uniform combination for the season opener on Sunday: gold helmets, green jerseys and gold pants — the traditional home uniform.

With the Packers wearing their traditional home uniform set, it can be assumed the Lions will be wearing their all-white jerseys and pants combo. Dan Campbell’s team has worn this uniform each year at Lambeau Field dating back to 2021.

Sunday’s season opener will be the regular season debut of several players in the Packers uniform, including rookie Matthew Golden (No. 0 — first player to wear the number) and edge rusher Micah Parsons (No. 1 — first player since Curly Lambeau to wear the number.

The Packers have an all-white “Winter Warning” uniform and a 1923-inspired throwback uniform available to wear during the 2025 season. LaFleur’s team is planning on wearing the “Winter Warning” uniform in Week 2 and the throwback uniform in Week 9.
